Olympic Torch in Sea to Sky Country
The Olympic Flame arrived in Sea to Sky Country on Thursday, igniting excitement amongst locals and visitors alike.
For the first time in history, the Olympic Flame was carried to the top of a 60-foot tree at the Squamish Logger Sports Grounds, in tribute to the logging pioneers who helped build the Squamish community.
The Olympic Flame will be recieved in Whistler Friday afternoon, and will then make it’s way north, before circling back to Vancouver.
The Olympic Games are only one week away! No doubt about it: you GOTTA be here! There’s no better place on earth!
