Oh Canada!!!

The weather doesn’t show it, but summer is here, and our big national day is coming up. Yup: Sunday is CANADA DAY!!

In Whistler:

The Pedal Power Parade starts at 10:30 am from the Muni parking lot, and the main Canada Day Parade starts at noon and goes from the Town Plaza to Mountain Square,  the Canada Day Farmer’s Market runs from 11 am to 4 pm,  and there will be street entertainment and don’t forget about Art Walk. But most importantly: the fireworks start at 10:15 pm – word on the street is that the best view is from Skier’s Plaza.

For Squamish:

Festivities will take place downtown on Cleveland Avenue, starting with the Canada Day Parade at 10:45 am. Canada Day Farmer’s Market, live music with food pavillion and beer garden at the O’Siem Pavillion, and firewords at 10 pm!

So bust out your flags, stick on tatooes and your best red and white ensembles, and let’s celebrate!!
